Welcome to CF Writing

We are based in Bryanston, Johannesburg, and offer novel writing courses aimed at writers of commercial / genre fiction. We welcome writers of all levels of experience, from newbies attempting their first book to experienced authors looking to brush up on their craft.

Our comprehensive course runs over four Saturday mornings and covers, amongst others, classic narrative structure, character arcs and character development, understanding the publishing business, improving your writing, finding your own voice, as well as practical tips on how to keep motivated.

We also offer more specialised one day workshops on topics such as Preparing Your Query, Promotion and Social Media, and Writing Basics.
